TERRELL, TEXAS — To better support its existing sales rep firms and resellers, as well as expand into new channels, UNIFIED POWER is pleased to welcome Ron Piersky as the new Vice President of Channel Sales. In his position, Piersky will help cultivate new partnerships — including resellers, VARs and critical power integrators — in regions where Unified Power currently has limited sales coverage. Piersky will also be responsible for enhancing the level of support provided to the company’s existing sales partners.
“We are excited about extending our scope of sales and services much deeper into the channel, and expect Ron to be an integral part of that,” said Chris Roach, President and CEO of Unified Power. “His extensive background in channel management is a perfect fit for our organization.”
Indeed, Piersky brings a wealth of industry experience to Unified Power. For the past 10 years, he worked for HM Cragg in a variety of roles, including Director of Advanced Technology Solutions, VP of Business Development, and VP of Sales. During his tenure there, he was instrumental in helping to transition the company from a regional reseller to Eaton’s largest national distributor. Prior to HM Cragg, Piersky worked for Best Power, Powerware and Eaton, primarily in sales and sales management roles.
“The opportunity to develop new channel relationships for Unified Power, as well as bolster support to the company’s existing partners, is a prospect that I couldn’t pass up,” Piersky said. “I am so grateful to be part of such a progressive and growing company.”
On board at Unified Power since Oct. 5, Piersky is currently based in Minneapolis but plans to relocate to Denver. He will cover the company’s entire territory, reporting to Robert Parrish, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
“Ron’s expertise will enable Unified Power to take its channel partnerships to a whole new level,” Parrish said. “He’s already hit the ground running, and I have no doubt he will be a vital addition to our team.”
The vision of Unified Power is to bring together advanced critical power services, sales and testing capabilities to become the premier independent power services company in North America. Under its various brands, the organization has provided thousands of companies across the nation with affordable and reliable critical power services for their UPS and battery systems for more than two decades.
The Unified Power brand began in January 2011 when Pfingsten Partners purchased On Computer Services, a national critical power service company located in Terrell, Texas. Other companies under the Unified Power brand include Baltimore-based Power Protection Unlimited, Sun Sales Company of Albuquerque, UPSCO of Glenmont, Ohio and Power Protection Services of Dallas.
