TERRELL, TEXAS—August 8, 2014 — UNIFIED POWER has strengthened its service and sales reach in the Ohio area and has announced that it has purchased UNITED POWER SERVICE CORPORATION of Glenmont, Ohio. Under the terms of the acquisition UNIFIED POWER will assume the service and sales responsibilities formally performed by UNITED POWER SERVICE CORPORATION (UPSCO).

This agreement will leverage the strengths of both companies to better serve customers and to drive growth in the Independent UPS service market” said Robert Parrish, Vice President of Channel Development at Unified Power. “This will allow us to expand existing relationships and build new ones. UPSCO’s reputation is strong, making us confident that our customers will continue to receive the highest level of care.”
